Get a print version PhotoModule is an independent block for building Internet shared image repository of a web site (for example for building photo community web site). PhotoModule allows users to publish their images, add FotoNotes (rectangular area over picture with tooltips), organize and manipulate personal photo albums and image galleries. Also users can view pictures (personal images and images of other users) and make comments to them.
PhotoModule stores all images in special folder on the hard disk for better system performance. All other data is stored in a Database (as the Database MSSQL, DB2, MySql, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQLite, Sybase etc can be used).
PhotoModule is implemented using AJAX technology. The intent is to make web pages feel more interactive by exchanging small amount of data with the server, so that the entire web page does not have to be reloaded each time the user makes a change, thus making the web page look like a fairy tale graphics and merely fly within your browser.
